Ekassir Company is announcing its new software application – electronic lotto. This product is designed to organize a lottery with the help of payment kiosks as well as payment acceptance points operated by cashiers.

The product may be interesting to a wide variety of clients:

• Companies involved in the lottery organization wishing to automate their business;
• Former gaming halls owners;
• Firms looking for new modern business ideas;
• Owners of payment kiosk networks wishing to expand the list of provided services;
• Betting offices.

If slightly modified the product can be used for acceptance of betting stakes both through cashier operated points and through payment kiosks. Also this software can be applied to implement various customer loyalty programs. Electronic lottery can be combined with payment acceptance.

One kiosk may contain several types of lottery and there may be quite a few games within one lottery. The number of points of sale may be quite big.

Lottery will Replace Gaming Business

As of July 1st 2007 gaming halls not complying with a new gambling law were closed. As of January 2009 all gambling venues are to open in four specially chosen zones: one in the Far East close to the North Korean and Chinese borders, one in the Altai region; a third in Kaliningrad; and the fourth close to the Azov Sea on the border of Rostovsky region and Krasnodar area.

Racetracks and lotteries have not been affected.

Due to toughening of gambling law quite a few players of the gaming business have to look for new forms of their business. Lottery is a legal alternative to gambling, and easy to move to because operations are similar.

Electronic Lottery Advantages:

• Possibility to deploy network on the basis of currently operating kiosks;
• A remote automated control over lottery ticket sale;

We are offering several options of electronic lottery – draw lottery and instant drawless lottery.

Draw Lottery and Instant Drawless Lottery

In the draw lottery the prize fund drawing is conducted simultaneously for all lottery participants after lottery ticket sale is completed.

Instant drawless lottery is organized differently. The winning tickets are defined here at the stage of their production, i.e. before the tickets are sold out. In case of instant lottery one can pay for the ticket and immediately define whether the ticket has won the prize.

Both types of lottery are not real time lotteries; therefore requirements to protect the information on lottery drawing results are not applicable. So, such kinds of lotteries can be conducted by a commercial organization. (According to Law real time lottery is a governmental monopoly).

Draw Lottery

The Draw lottery idea implementation is close to the one used in regional 'Nevsky Lotto' lottery which is quite popular in St.Petersburg.

The lottery rules may be adjusted tailored to the customer's wishes.

The rules in the demo version are the following:

• Player presses "bet" button on the kiosk and selects 6 numbers out of 42. The smallest possible bet is 10 rubles, the biggest one is 5000 rubles. The prize will increase according to the size of the bet. You can select 7 or more numbers out of 42; the bet amount will then be increased correspondingly.
• The check printer will print out a secure from fraud lottery ticket after the bet is paid. Apart from usual data (date, time, kiosk location address, bet size and so on) the printed lottery ticket contains barcode with a unique code of the payment made in the system.

Instant Lottery

Instant lottery is implemented as a set of games resulting in the draw of the next in line ticket and defining the winning amount to be paid. The games may vary including standard slot machine games and the ones designed specially for lottery kiosks.

We can implement any games according to the customer requirements.

The game proceeds as follows:

• A customer picks up a game;
• Pays the ticket price;
• Launches game's drawing;
• The kiosk at this moment requests the next in line ticket either from the Server or from local kiosk ticket database, 'opens' it, interprets the winning and matches the conclusion with the game result;
• A player will see the drawing result on the kiosk screen in the game format (for example, in the slot machine type game maximum win will be displayed as three 7's on a reel);
• In case the player wins he gets the win either in cash or in the form of a receipt with barcode. He can also be offered to submit the win as part of service payment.
