System Rollout Abroad
For a number of reasons the technology of micro-payments acceptance through self-service kiosks has become widely spread in Russia. No other country throughout the world seems to have so many payment acceptance points and self-service kiosks. Agent payment acceptance schemes are quite complicated, range of payments being collected is fairly wide and competition is high. No wonder that many major payment systems enter foreign markets, first the CIS countries and then further abroad. There are neither many players nor tough competition in those marketplaces. Business prospects however are quite attractive.
eKassir® has implemented quite a few projects abroad, mostly in the CIS countries: Georgia, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine. There are also projects rolled out in Romania, Mongolia and Latvia. We are currently looking at the opportunities to enter other foreign countries.
When payment acceptance software is being delivered outside the Russian Federation we perform the necessary system adjustments and localization for the use in other countries. This is why we ask our possible future clients to fill out a special questionnaire form.
