Payment acceptance business development in Russia has shown that franchising is the most successful way to grow, when payment system does not employ its own terminals but incorporates system intermediaries (dealers) while offering them a complete solution from supply of kiosks to payment acceptance and advertising support. Dealer’s interaction with the payment system should be advanced and convenient. Dealer’s cabinet module performs the front office functions for dealers interacting with the payment system. Access to dealer’s cabinet is conducted through any computer over the Internet. Dealer’s cabinet enables system intermediaries to do the following:

  • Manage dealer’s payment acceptance network:
    • Run remote commands to payment acceptance points, remotely update software, manage services on terminals, receive logs of payment acceptance points operation and so on;
    • Monitor kiosks status (communication lines, receipt printer tape, bill acceptor and other devices);
    • Control cash collection;
    • Control work with fiscal registers( if necessary);
    • Control other payment acceptance network parameters.
  • Work with dealer’s account in the payment system:
    • Manage dealer’s current account balance within the payment system in real time mode;
    • View deposit and withdraw statements.
  • Perform the required activity with sub-dealers:
    • Perform transaction posting from dealer’s account to sub-dealer’s account;
    • Control sub-dealer’s POS’s and payment acceptance conducted there;
    • Assign commission fee for sub-dealers for payment acceptance.
  • Work with payments:
    • Look through statistics on the accepted payments;
    • Conduct search, viewing and transfer of certain payments;
    • Revoke and re-send payments (if the gateway in use permits so).
  • Exchange data and documents with payment system:
    • Send new sub-dealer or new POS order forms to the payment system;
    • Receive from the payment system settlement certificates detailing total payments accepted for a certain period of time by the dealer and its sub-dealers;
    • Download necessary information and documentation;
    • Look through system news.
  • Assign external commission fee on payment terminals:
    • Create commission profiles which can be applied depending on the amount and time of payment and so on;
    • Apply created profiles to separate services (or groups of services) either on all terminals or on certain ones.
  • Perform other required actions.

From the payment system side Dealer’s Cabinet is administered through Dealer’s Cabinet Module Administrator, which allows you to:

  • Receive and execute dealer’s queries to the payment system;
  • Handle technical settings of the dealer’s cabinet parameters;
  • Administer dealer’s cabinet user rights;
  • Perform other administrative functions relating to dealer’s cabinet.

Dealer’s Cabinet Module of the system is continually developing, incorporating new functionality.
